Film Prep: Prop List

Band Performance: 

• Costumes (previously spoken about in earlier posts)
• Two guitars
• One drum set

These should be all props required for the band performance aspect as it is being kept relatively simplistic so the focus is on the actors. 

Table area: 

• Costumes
• Lined paper
• Pens
• General 'mess' to make realistic e.g. mug/glass, magazine/newspaper etc.
• Table
• Chairs
• Pictures on walls (to make realistic 'home' feel)

Letterbox/ Street: 

• Costumes
• Letter/ envelope 
• Letterbox
• Houses on street (obviously part of location but is vital for believable aspect)

Other locations are the 'beach' where costumes will be the only prop required on screen and also lined paper which obviously requires no props just a pen to write on it with. 

This list should be helpful in making sure the mise-en-scene is effective and believable and should make sure we don't leave any obvious things out.
